GUIDE TO THE 2024 FCA NATIONAL CONVENTION

ARRIVAL AT THE CONVENTION: Upon arrival at the host hotel, there will be signs and club members to direct you to the hotel entrance.

Check into the host hotel and unload your luggage, proceed to registration, where you will pick up your registration packet, which will include your Windshield Card, Parking Space #, ID badges, Wall Plaque, Dash Plaque, Show Schedule, tickets to any activities you signed up for, and your Ballot.

While in the registration room remember to check out the raffle items, the club store location, and bulletin boards.

If you are bringing your car on a trailer, there will be a place to unload your car, then you will be given a map with directions to the trailer parking.

VEHICLE JUDGING:  Is done by registered FCA Membership participants using a people’s choice ballot.  Voting is opened Saturday 8:00 AM to noon.

SHOW FIELD PARKING: The Windshield card given to you at Registration Check-In must be posted where it can be seen by the parking attendants, and attendees voting for their favorite cars during the Show. Cars may leave and return as needed. All Show Cars should be in their designated parking spaces as much as possible, but especially on Saturday during the Voting.  Keeping your car on the show field as much as possible assures that the majority of registrants have had an opportunity to see and vote for your car.

CAR WASH: The car wash is opened Thursday and Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Saturday 8:00 AM to noon.

ACTIVITIES: Research available activities, dates and times you will want to attend. These can be found at www.falconclub.com and clicking the FCA National Meet tab and then clicking the Convention Information, Tentative Schedule of Events, or Fee Schedule tabs.

FCA MEMBERSHIP MEETING: The FCA membership meeting will take place on Saturday at 2:00pm.  Only paid members are allowed to attend and participate in the membership meeting.   The meeting consists of general information from the board of directors on issues and projects that occurred during the year, as well as voting on such items as bylaw revisions, policies, and election of open board positions.

AWARDS CEREMONY & GALA: The Awards Ceremony is held on Saturday evening. Check the Schedule of Events for exact dates and times. Here, all of the FCA awards will be presented.

If you cannot attend the Awards Ceremony, you should try to have a friend or relative accept any award you may receive. This helps the hosting team in shipping costs for awards not picked up. Also at the Awards Ceremony, the hosting team for the next FCA National Meet will make their presentation hoping to get you to attend the following year.

QUESTIONS: If you still have questions please do not hesitate to contact one of our FCA Team members.
